Porsche ceremonially hands over anniversary Cayenne to municipal fire brigade

Stuttgart/Leipzig. The 500,000th vehicle rolled off the production line in Porsche’s plant in Saxony. The anniversary sports car is a white Cayenne with a V8 engine and was converted into a command vehicle for the Leipzig fire brigade with the assistance of Porsche’s apprentices. In a ceremony today, Matthias Müller, the President and CEO of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche SE benefits from positive development at Porsche and Volkswagen

Stuttgart, 15 March 2012. In the fiscal year 2011, Porsche Automobil Holding SE, Stuttgart (Porsche SE), benefited from the positive development of both its investments. Profit from the investments accounted for at equity, comprising the profit from Volkswagen AG and Porsche Zwischenholding GmbH attributable to Porsche SE, reached 4.66 billion euro. Of this figure, 395 million euro was attributable to the Porsche Zwischenholding GmbH group and 4.27 billion euro to the Volkswagen group. However, the result was impacted by a special effect from the adjustment through profit or loss, but without effect on cash, of the valuation of the put and call options for the shares in Porsche Zwischenholding GmbH held by Porsche SE. This special effect amounted to minus 4.37 billion euro in 2011. Overall, Porsche SE achieved a profit after tax of 59 million euro at group level. Stuttgart, 17 June 2011. Porsche Automobil Holding SE (Porsche SE) is continuing to benefit from the very good business development of its Volkswagen and Porsche investments. In the first three months of the fiscal year 2011, profit after tax totaled 691 million euro. Already in the short fiscal year 2010, from 1 August to 31 December of the prior year, Porsche SE disclosed profit after tax of 1.29 billion euro. “Porsche SE is clearly on track for success,” Prof. Dr. Martin Winterkorn, CEO of Porsche SE told shareholders at the company’s Annual General Meeting in Stuttgart. In the first three months of the current fiscal year 2011, profit after tax totaled 691 million euro. This was mainly due to the very good development of its Porsche and Volkswagen investments. The profits from investments accounted for at equity were 606 million euro in the first three months. This is an improvement on the figure expected when Porsche SE published its six-monthly financial report. At that time, the company forecast a low single-digit billion-euro loss.
