Porsche AG, Stuttgart has already built the 25,000th Panamera. In addition to the Panamera, the new generation of the sporty, all-terrain vehicle – the Cayenne – is also being produced in the same facility in the State of Saxony. Read more

Green Light for Series Development of the 918 Spyder

Stuttgart. In its session today, the Supervisory Board of Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, gave the green light for series development of the Porsche 918 Spyder. Reflecting the overwhelming response from the public and customers to the Concept Study, the Supervisory Board gave Porsche’s Board of Management the mission to develop a production model based on the car already presented. This concept version of an ultra-high-performance mid-engined sports car with plug-in hybrid technology made its debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show and at Auto China in Bejing, hitting the headlines worldwide. Stuttgart. This Wednesday, July 21, 2010, the Board of Management and the Group Works Council of the Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart, have reached a long-term agreement to secure its production locations. The new regulations will expire on July 31, 2015 and will supersede current regulations dating back to 2005. The company thereby creates the prerequisite for continued productivity increases and flexibility, and lays the groundwork for lasting positive corporate development. In response, in the next five years, Porsche will make an investment in the high hundreds of millions in infrastructure and project innovations. Read more

Stuttgart. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, based in Stuttgart, enjoys an outstanding reputation among its US customers. Two recent studies confirm this again. The renowned study “Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout Study (APEAL)” by the US opinion polling research institute J.D. Power ranks Porsche first overall ratings for the sixth time in a row. Furthermore, the Gran Turismo Panamera was rated second-best and the Porsche 911 third-best vehicle.
