Porsche Motorsport welcomes new partners

Stuttgart. Porsche enjoys growing popularity as a partner in motorsport advertising and sponsoring. Alongside the existing partnerships with the brands Veltins, Tudor, Loctite, ZF Sachs, BBS, Fein, Hazet, MAN and Sigma, many other associations were renewed and intensified. The contracts of Porsche AG with ExxonMobil and Michelin as worldwide cooperation partners were extended, as were the motorsport cooperations with adidas, Emitec, Brembo, Ultimate, BT Bremsen Technik and Stand 21. Rolf Benz, WMF and Darboven continue as hospitality partners.

The partnership that began last year with the workshop supplier Theo Förch GmbH & Co. KG was intensified. As an official supplier, FÖRCH brings its products to Porsche Motorsport workshops and to the tracks. As a series partner in the Carrera Cup Deutschland, the mark is represented with its eye-catching branding on the front spoiler. Moreover, the company fields its own FÖRCH Racing team in this year´s Carrera Cup Deutschland.

Hewlett-Packard returns as a partner of the Carrera Cup Deutschland. Both companies can look back on a nine-year association in motorsport. Like in the past, HP links a series partnership with a team partnership this season. With Team Herbert, HP has already secured championship titles in the drivers’ and team classifications in the past.

Dräxlmaier joins the Carrera Cup Deutschland as series partner for the first time this year. The company from Vilsbiburg is the supplier of interior parts and systems as well as electrical/electronic components and already has close ties with Porsche as a series supplier.

Braun, a brand of the shaving products division of consumer goods giant Procter & Gramble, is now onboard with Porsche Motorsport. Braun partners the VIP car in the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup, which is piloted by various motorsport celebrities at selected races. The black vehicle featuring the Braun Design will first race in Silverstone and is the backbone of an extensive marketing and communications campaign.

“We are delighted that our partners keep their trust in motorsport as an effective marketing and business platform around the Porsche brand,” said Florian Kurz, Head of Porsche Motorsport – Business Relations. “With the new partners, we have very high profile brands onboard that excellently fit in and add to the Porsche partner network. For us, the development of the partnership family is a confirmation and also a motivation to convince other strong brands of the merits of a partnership with Porsche Motorsport.”
