Exterior and Interior Detailing:

Concours Auto Detailing is located in the West End of Richmond (just west of Parham Rd. on Broad Street). They are experts in interior and exterior car care. The owner comes from Porsche heritage, whose family owned a Porsche/VW dealer. They care about and enjoy what they are doing. Everyone on staff is detail oriented.

- Flood damage to interiors, spills, etc. can all be tended to properly.
- Detailing interior and exterior is part of any car's maintenance and helps with longevity.
- Paintless dent removal can be taken care of on site.
- Spot painting, carpet and seat dying can restore exteriors and interiors.

Paint Protection:

3M paint protective films are also applied in a clean room at Concours. A variety of film thicknesses and applications are available to help keep the frontal area on your Porsche flaw free. This kind of technique is often referred to "clear bras." Film can be applied over complex curves, lights and lenses to preserve the finish. The film technology is ever changing, and the new films are much better than the films applied just a couple years ago. Lewis and Nathan are the only two certified installers in Virginia. Occasionally our cars have the inevitable happen, the "fender bender". With new techniques the dents many times can be worked out without painting. Hail damage, parking lot door dings, bumper dents, etc. can be repaired quickly saving time and money. Virginia Dent shares space with Concours Auto Detailing, and both have had a great relationship for almost a decade. Mobile service if needed in a pinch. Again great service, and nice guys!

Paint and Bodywork:

Wilson Body Works is a family run business with personal Porsche experience as well. Tony Wilson is the owner, and much of the time answers the phone himself. The shop is located in Richmond, just south of the river on Belt Boulevard. They have recently moved into a new building and are making some tracks with interesting high-line work. Porsches are always there getting either full resprays or accident repair. It is also not unusual to see BMW, Rolls Royce, or Ferraris undergoing repairs. They also have the ability to do Concours type paintwork. Feel free to call and discuss your specific needs.

Towing:

Car transport is becoming more and more of a demand with everyone's busy schedules. With cars coming to our shop from all over the Mid-Atlantic, logistics are needed getting cars to and from their destination. We use Wrecker Boy exclusively. He has modern equipment and takes the time and care when transporting any car. Darrell understands how to transport Porsche's and ensures that the job gets done right. They do all our local towing, and can deliver throughout the state if need be.

Tools:

Porsches do require high quality tools, and specialty equipment. Our main tool supplier is our Snap-On man and visits the shop weekly. The Snap-On name is synonymous with quality, and professional grade tools. He welcomes phone calls, and he can give you an idea of where he is in case you need an item. Chassis repair, reconstruction:

Chuck and Lenny at Chuck's Frame are a one of a kind shop. With a small facility they really do some great work, concentrating on the car enthusiast market dealing with exotics, and European marques. They truly care about what they do, and do some excellent chassis work on cars that would have seen the crusher, or written off by the regular shops.
