Club racing

Club racing includes a wide range of categories and classes, from simple autocross events to full season NASA, SCCA and PCA competition. Lüfteknic can provide the parts, service, set-up and maintenance for you to get the best from you, and your Porsche.

This type of use requires a different level of maintenance and preparation to make sure that you and your car are safe. We understand the demands of track use on your Porsche and we prepare our customer vehicles accordingly. Track time is valuable. Getting the service and set up done right from the start, no matter the level of competition, will keep you free to focus your time at the track on enjoying and improving your driving, not worrying about reliability, safety or other distractions.

Lüfteknic has prepared, built, serviced and set up a variety of cars for customers, including 911, 964, 993, 996 and 997, plus ex-pro cars such as 996 GT3R/RS/RSR, Daytona Prototypes and others.

Historic and vintage

As pro racing and club racing have both become more expensive, historic and vintage racing series such as HSR, SVRA and VRG have become more and more appealing. Add to this the large number of fast, reliable and relatively inexpensive Porsche cup cars and other well developed platforms, and it’s easy to see why vintage has grown significantly over the years. For those who have spent time in a vintage paddock it’s plain to see how much fun everyone is having, and the urge to be a part of it is pretty hard to deny.

If you’re considering a vintage Porsche race car, Lüfteknic can help source, evaluate and restore the car mechanically and aesthetically to as-raced condition if necessary, or simply bring it back into fighting shape.  Our experience with the 964, 993, 996 and 997 cars is unparalleled and dates back to when these cars were run professionally at the top level. Whatever your taste in a vintage Porsche, be it air-cooled or water-cooled, GT or GTP, we can prepare it for you.

Pro racing

When you’re competing at the highest level it takes more than a budget to put a car on the grid. The innumerable variables, from crew to car to catering, and everything in between; all need proper attention and nothing may be left to chance. Whether a funded independent driver looking to field a proper effort in IMSA Tudor, Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge or Pirelli World Challenge, or a corporate entity looking to do the same and seeking proper brand representation and return on investment, Lüfteknic has the experience, professional approach and willingness to go the extra mile that will compliment the goals of your program.

Beyond the nut and bolt aspects of running your program, we understand the value of proper team branding, image, presentation, social media involvement and marketing, and can work with your own public relations and promotions department or can provide turn-key in-house solutions. The fundamentals to an effective marketing effort, using sports car racing and the Porsche brand in particular, are fairly simple but remarkably overlooked by many.

Aside from automotive experience, Lüfteknic staff members have extensive experience in the advertising and graphic arts industries, and we provide a unique combination of skill and perspective which can be utilized for the benefit of your racing and marketing programs.
