Lufteknic at Sebring 2005.

#34 did well with the oldest GT car in the field a 2000 GT3 R with updated engine, the old gearbox, and earlier aerodynamics. The ex-Reiser-Callas car has been updated with many of the newer RS components, and has always been a joy to drive nicknamed "Sweetness". It had some of the fastest times in practice sessions, and was poised to do well in the 12 hour. It was a mad race to get the car together as it always is, and some teething issues from being out of competetion for a year, but the team, and car were in sync quickly.

During the race the only major set back was the right front tire that blew out and took a radiator, fender, and some front brake ducting. After a major hustle to get it back together with the heat and a tired crew it held on for an impressive 6th in class, just a few laps behind the 5th place car. The Hazardous Sports GT3R was catching the wounded #96 car quickly at the end of the race as 96 was in the pits for mechanical issues. Without the #34's major stop halfway through the race to fix the damage, we could have been on the podium. The team had excellent pit stops, worked well together, and overcame the on-track difficulties to finish well.

Andy and Spencer proved they could run with the factory supported teams, and others with more resources.

Zip/Hazardous wil be working towards another appearance at Petit LeMans in 2005, and a developed full season in 2006.
