2003 Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Factory Porsche GT3 RS race car, campaigned in the American Le Mans Series in 2003 by ZIP Racing / Hazardous Sports. We have had a hand in caring for this unique example since it was new, and are now the custodians of this piece of Porsche racing history. Currently undergoing a minimal restoration to as-ran ALMS livery.

Arguably the car that started it all. Many Porsches have come and gone but this 1957 Porsche 356 Speedster has been a part of the family for decades.

Damaged 1964 Porsche 356SC

1964 Porsche 356SC

After an accident sidelined this late 356SC, it sat and languished for several years before the decision was made to resurrect the car. As we often see in cars which saw seasons and moisture there is much more to repair than just the accident damage. New floors, extensive door reconstruction and more. Currently still in progress, with scheduled completion in late 2015.

A 993 GT2 conversion car, minus the bodywork. Rear wheel drive, bigger turbos and everything to go with it.

1971 Porsche 914

This original-owner Canary Yellow Porsche 914 had been sitting for approximately 25 years when it arrived at Lüfteknic. A full ground-up restoration was performed and the car was put back to near factory specification as delivered, right down the original dealership license plate frame.

1969 Porsche 912

This 1969 Irish Green Porsche 912 came to Lüfteknic as a very solid restoration candidate, with minimal rust repair needed and still sporting all the original panels, parts and pieces. A full mechanical and aesthetic overall ensued.

A two owner car, this Roadster was purchased new from the famous Brundage Porsche of Jacksonville and picked up by the current owner back in 1964; restored by Lüfteknic and still racking up the miles.

The original 996 GT3 was a revelation and set a new benchmark for modern Porsche performance. Superior to its standard Carrera brethren in ways perhaps not seen since the now-famous 911 RS, we took this GT3 to the next level for use as a dual-purpose street and track machine.

2007 Porsche 911 GT3

This is our kind of GT3. Owned by a member of the Lüfteknic extended family, this GT3 isn’t languishing in storage but is driven like it was meant to be driven. Put to use on the streets of NYC and taken on day trips all across the northeast, it also sees use at autocross, track days and is a multiple-year veteran of the Green Park at Sebring for the 12 Hour.

1964 Mercedes 1113 Fire Truck

Richmond Virginia is a long way from the town of Engen in southwest Germany. Our Fire Truck spent decades in the service of Engen before being imported to North Carolina for use at the Weeping Radish Brewery near the Outer Banks, and then finally making its way to Lüfteknic.

Already outfitted with a roll cage and safety equipment by Synergy Racing, we installed a full array of upgraded suspension components, a Guard differential and a new Recaro seat in this ex-Porsche Driving Experience 997 911 C2.
