Porsche (9) Option Codes

The option codes began with 9 for the new model introduction of the 901. The first Porsche vehicle to begin the 900 series cars. Most of this information is only known through the original factory kardex, or if the original purchase information has been retained with the car ( window sticker, factory/dealer invoice, etc.). This method of coding was introduced in late 1963, and has been continued to be seen up to 2004 model year.

Below is a table of known options, These codes occasionally will be found on models other than 911. Many of the "9" codes are similar to the later M-codes, so cars with similar equipment can have different coding.
