Help with Pertronix on 74 911

I have installed a Pertronix Ignitor in my 74 911 and was sent the wrong wiring diagram at first and it would not start. I obtained the correct diagram and rewired accordingly as well as installing a new 3 ohm coil. The car still won't start and I fear I have damaged my CD unit. Can anyone tell me how to test the Bosch CD unit? I have bench tested the Ignitor installed in the distributor and it is working. Any advice would be welcome.
