start:
after being in storage since the late 80s this old friend finally gets its turn. engine is test fitted. Some old accident damage is fixed properly.

sanding:
the 6 plus layers of paint are removed, took forever to get it down to the original sheetmetal.

more sanding:
more paint removed, and some use of plastic was used to finish the contours.

final bodywork/prep:
panels are back on for fitment checks, car is then prepped for primer, taped, and masked.

priming parts and chassis:
chassis is primed, and some glazing putty is used to fill imperfections in bodywork, paint. chassis # and door #'s

door cavities, and preparing the separate panels for final paint
panels:
parts are readied for final paint, cleaned with degreaser, tacked off, and shot with the Sikkens wet on wet sealer
paint:
after a few minutes the guns are changed and final color is shot. Ruby Red is sharp
paintwork/and buff:
couple more shots of final paint, and the buffing process
